Job Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Minimum 2 years retail grocery experience
  • Ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to stand for up to 8 hours per shift
  • Able to lift up to 40 lbs repeatedly without mechanical assistance
  • Compliance with all safety, health, and weight regulations
  • Obtain and maintain Food Handler’s permit
  • Ability to operate bakery equipment such as knives, scales, wrappers, compactors, and hand trucks
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Dependable and reliable work ethic

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years retail grocery experience
  • Dependable with ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Outgoing and friendly demeanor with a positive attitude
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
  • Ability to take special orders and handle phone inquiries
  • Knowledge of bakery equipment usage
  • Capability to perform cleaning and sanitation tasks
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift weight as required
  • Food Handler’s permit or ability to obtain
  • Working knowledge of personnel and financial reports
  • Experience with coaching and performance evaluations

Job Duties

  • Manage daily output baking production and display of bakery products
  • Supervise product quality consistency and track inventory
  • Manage bakery budget and operational costs
  • Evaluate department performance and implement improvements
  • Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and food handling standards
  • Order, receive, and store bakery merchandise efficiently
  • Lead team coaching, development, and performance evaluations
  • Create and adjust staff schedules to maximize productivity
  • Communicate standards, policy changes, and product knowledge
  • Serve as Key Carrier and act as Manager on Duty when needed
