Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • prior bakery or food service management experience
  • ability to work flexible hours including weekends
  • strong multitasking and problem-solving skills
  • basic computer proficiency
  • excellent interpersonal skills
  • valid driver's license preferred

Job Qualifications

  • experience managing a bakery or food retail operation

  • proficiency with POS and bakery management systems
  • ability to train and develop staff

  • understanding of scheduling and payroll management

Job Duties

  • manage business operations of one or more bakery locations
  • oversee bakery production and retail areas
  • lead and manage bakers, retail and delivery staff through direction and feedback
  • schedule and manage incoming and outgoing deliveries and orders
  • maintain organization of back room and office
  • manage end-of-day emails, POS and systems
  • create processes, systems and resource materials
  • train and manage performance of team members
  • write schedules for staff including bakers, retail and delivery drivers
  • manage payroll and overtime
  • collaborate with Director and Founders on developing tools and resources
  • ensure high-quality customer service in-person and on phones
