Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Willingness to work flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, holidays, and days
  • Ability to manage inventory and maintain pricing integrity
  • Ability to follow departmental standards and operational procedures

  • Ability to handle specialty bakery products with attention to safety and quality standards

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of three years management experience in grocery retail, restaurant, baking, or culinary experience
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow planograms, layouts, and schematics of the department for merchandising
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Customer service oriented
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Job Duties

  • Greet guests and proactively assist them in a friendly manner with accurate and timely service
  • Make recommendations and accommodate requests
  • Manage order guides, ordering deadlines, reduce shrink and damage
  • Properly receive and stock goods following rotation standards when replenishing product levels
  • Handle, slice, and prepare a variety of specialty breads, pastry items, and Convenient Meal Solutions throughout the day
  • Direct teams to handle, properly receive, stock, and merchandise goods following company standards
  • Engage, motivate, coach, and train team members on-the-job and through internal training platforms to provide excellent guest service in a safe and secure manner
