Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in bakery operations or related food service
- Strong leadership and supervisory experience
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle physical demands of the job including lifting and standing for long periods
- Flexible to work early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays
- Compliance with all food safety regulations
- Ability to operate bakery equipment safely and efficiently

- Ability to operate mixers, ovens, bread slicer and other bakery equipment
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to understand and follow instructions
- Ability to read, retain and comprehend guidelines, policies and procedures

Job Duties
- Provide high-quality customer service in accordance with company standards
- Oversee operations and staffing for the bakery department
- Plan daily and weekly production and staff assignments and scheduling
- Supervise bakery staff and provide staff training
- Monitor quality of goods and services
- Maintain cleanliness of bakery display cases and work surfaces
- Maintain compliance with all food safety and employee safety regulations
- Inform customers about bakery products and services and promote sales
- Take bakery orders over telephone or in person
- Operate electronic cash register and manage customer payments
- Maintain accurate inventory and record keeping
- Prepare bakery products by measuring ingredients and operating equipment
- Organize and maintain cleanliness of work area
- Order ingredients and supplies as needed
- Suggest inventory and pricing changes
- Adhere to company uniform and grooming policies
