Job Requirements

  • minimum two years commitment

  • serious professional food safety awareness
  • endurance for full production days
  • strong work ethic

Job Qualifications

  • multiple years of experience in foodservice, back of house, prep or baking
  • strong leadership skills
  • professional awareness of food safety
  • ability to work on feet for long hours
  • physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • experience with bakery equipment such as deck and convection ovens, dough sheeters, and mixers
  • excellent team management and scheduling skills
  • creativity in menu development

Job Duties

  • take point on the production timetable
  • orient preplists to meet and exceed demand and take advantage of space for development, time off, deep cleans and new projects
  • build and improve checklists, training, and SOPs to enhance consistency and quality
  • push the cutting edge of sourcing and production within the bakery
  • contribute to creative development of the menu and holistic systems
  • keep inventory stocked and fresh while minimizing breakage and outages
  • coordinate with produce, deli, and shop teams to manage product flow
  • inspire bakery team while maintaining professional expectations
  • lead hiring, scheduling, time tracking, and team management tasks
