Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in bakery or retail management preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Strong math skills for inventory and sales tracking
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends
- Dexterity for bagging and packaging bakery products
- Compliance with all company policies and government regulations
Job Qualifications
- Strong communication skills
- Experience in bakery management or related supervisory role
- Ability to train and supervise employees
- Knowledge of inventory control and merchandising
- Skill in cake decorating
- Understanding of safety and sanitation policies
- Ability to maintain records and reports accurately
Job Duties
- Responsible for following merchandising plans for the department
- Responsible for ordering to maintain inventory control and ensure freshness and product quality
- Responsible to order and maintain asset control of commercial bread while ensuring freshness and product quality
- Enforce and follow all policies regarding receiving, dating, and restocking to ensure product rotation
- Participate in shrink control
- Effectively schedule and supervise department employees
- Maintain and ensure compliance with company policies related to safety and sanitation
