Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age
- Authorization to work in the United States or ability to obtain the same
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug testing and background check
- Strong customer service skills
- Exceptional interpersonal, motivational and communication skills
- Knowledge of basic math
- Ability to operate bakery equipment according to company guidelines
- Ability to perform basic cake decorating and baking skills
- Proficient with computer applications used in department operations
- Possession or ability to obtain Food Safety Certification within 180 days
- Ability to work varied shifts
- Physical ability to perform manual labor tasks including lifting up to 35 lbs and occasional climbing
- Adherence to safety protocols and use of personal protective equipment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 3 to 6 years of relevant supervisory experience in a bakery or retail food service environment
- Strong customer service skills
- Knowledge of basic mathematics
- Ability to operate bakery equipment such as slicers, ovens, and scales
- Basic cake decorating and baking skills
- Proficiency with computer applications relevant to bakery operations
- Food Safety Certification or ability to obtain within 180 days
- Excellent interpersonal, motivational, and communication skills
Job Duties
- Manage daily bakery operations to ensure product quality and compliance
- Promote and execute merchandising plans in alignment with department goals
- Supervise, train, and develop bakery team members providing coaching as needed
- Oversee inventory forecasting, ordering, and shrink reduction processes
- Ensure adherence to food safety regulations and execution of product recalls
- Foster an inclusive work environment valuing diversity and teamwork
- Maintain safety standards by inspecting equipment and reporting hazards
