Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven experience in bakery or food service management
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation standards
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Skilled in inventory management and budgeting
  • Proficiency with POS systems
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience in food preparation kitchen management or restaurant management within the food industry
  • Excellent leadership team management and staff training abilities
  • Skilled in inventory control budgeting and food safety standards
  • Experience in supervising fast-paced environments such as quick service and fast food restaurants or casual dining settings
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on hospitality management
  • Culinary experience with a focus on bakery products is highly desirable
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively through training and development initiatives
  • Knowledge of food handling regulations catering or banquet experience is a plus
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a busy environment

Job Duties

  • Supervise daily bakery operations including food preparation baking and presentation standards
  • Manage staff training development and scheduling to ensure efficient shift coverage
  • Oversee inventory control including ordering supplies and monitoring stock levels using POS systems
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards in accordance with health regulations
  • Maintain quality control to uphold product consistency and freshness
  • Coordinate with vendors for ingredient procurement and manage delivery schedules
  • Assist in menu planning and product development to meet customer preferences
  • Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to increase revenue
  • Lead by example in providing excellent customer service and fostering a positive team environment
