Job Requirements
- Valid ServSafe Food Safety Certification and ability to maintain it in good standing
- two years of experience in bakery operations, retail, or food production
- ability to stand and move frequently on hard surfaces
- ability to lift up to 30 pounds regularly with occasional heavier lifting assistance
- exposure to temperature variations from ovens, freezers, and refrigerators
- potential exposure to cleaning agents and bakery-related allergens
- strong commitment to maintaining food safety and sanitation protocols
- must be at least 18 years of age

- Two years of experience in bakery operations, retail, or food production
- strong knowledge of bakery production processes and food safety guidelines
- ability to analyze data and make process improvements

- proficiency in basic computer applications including MS Word, Excel, and email

Job Duties
- Lead bakery department operations by maintaining and executing bakery operational standards
- manage inventory proactively to ensure proper product availability and timely replenishment
- demonstrate full proficiency in preparing, baking, and merchandising bakery items according to company standards
- ensure accurate item labeling and pricing compliance
- track and analyze production, sales, waste, and shrink data to identify process improvement opportunities
- maintain sanitation and safety compliance including adherence to ServSafe and food safety guidelines
- escalate operational concerns such as equipment issues or food safety risks to management
- execute proper product rotation using FIFO procedures to minimize waste
- conduct regular quality and date checks to uphold food safety standards
- execute seasonal promotions and merchandising initiatives in alignment with company guidelines
- support club initiatives including inventory audits and shrink control
- perform routine inspections of bakery cases and coolers
- assist with receiving and inspecting produce shipments
- support inventory audits and reconciliation efforts
- monitor product freshness and conduct quality assurance checks
- maintain regular, predictable, full attendance to ensure smooth club operations
- perform other duties as assigned to provide additional departmental support
