Job Requirements

  • Three or more years of bakery or food production experience
  • previous leadership or training experience strongly desired
  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • valid Food Handlers Card required
  • Knife Safety knowledge preferred
  • ServSafe certification preferred
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required

Job Duties

  • Prepare and bake approved recipes while maintaining consistency and quality
  • plan production schedules based on forecasted sales and department needs
  • maintain strict adherence to food safety and sanitation standards
  • train and coach bakery staff on procedures, accuracy, and efficiency
  • minimize waste through accurate pars, sampling, and shrink tracking
  • order and rotate products according to vendor schedules and deadlines
  • participate in inventories and inspections to ensure compliance and accuracy
  • communicate daily updates, notes, and coaching opportunities via Microsoft Teams and email
  • collaborate with Deli, Kitchen, and Front of House teams to ensure smooth operations
  • demonstrate leadership through engagement, communication, and proactive problem-solving
