Job Requirements

  • six months experience in a bakery production department or six months experience supervising a team
  • must be 18 years of age or older
  • successful completion of all job-required trainings and assessments within prescribed time period
  • ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
  • commitment to maintaining a safe and compliant workplace
  • willingness to support company values and culture

Job Qualifications

  • minimum of six months experience in a bakery production department or six months experience supervising a team
  • bakery production including decorating
  • supervising associates
  • food handler certification (food safety) - certification
  • strong leadership and communication skills
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards

Job Duties

  • supervise the team within the bakery department to deliver on the business plan and contribute to overall success of the club
  • maintain comprehensive knowledge of bakery floor and backroom operations, product specifications, and seasonal products
  • leverage digital tools to plan and drive sales, improve shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement
  • drive operational excellence by ensuring clean, safe work area and adherence to food safety and company policies
  • teach, train, and develop team members, identify training needs and encourage career growth
  • develop and implement processes to meet business needs and foster collaboration
  • promote compliance with company policies, ethics, and standards, and assist management with ethical and compliance issues
