- Ability to complete all required trainings and assessments
- Commitment to uphold company policies and maintain a drug-free workplace
Job Qualifications
- 6 months experience in bakery production or supervising a team
- Knowledge of bakery operations, product quality standards, and safety regulations
- Ability to lead and develop a team
- Proficiency with digital tools and technology in a retail environment
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Food Handler Certification preferred
- Experience in bakery production including decorating preferred
Job Duties
- Supervise the bakery department team to deliver on the business plan and contribute to overall club success
- Communicate department goals and execute company programs while adhering to policies
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of bakery operations, product specifications, and seasonality
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, sanitation, and regulatory standards
- Train and develop team members on new products, recipes, and production specifications
- Use digital tools to plan sales, improve shopping experience, and enhance associate engagement
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in the bakery department
- Manage inventory accuracy, audit compliance, and merchandise display according to layout plans
- Foster a culture of respect, integrity, and teamwork
- Lead initiatives for continuous improvement and adapt to changes or new challenges
