Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Six months experience in a bakery production department or six months experience supervising a team
  • Completion of all job required trainings and assessments within prescribed time period if hired
  • Ability to comply with company policies and regulatory standards
  • Willingness to work collaboratively with team members and other departments
  • Eligibility to work in the United States

Job Qualifications

  • Six months experience in a bakery production department or six months experience supervising a team
  • Knowledge of bakery production including decorating is preferred
  • Supervisory experience is preferred
  • Food Handler Certification (Food Safety) is preferred
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to train and develop associates
  • Proficiency in digital tools for business operations
  • Commitment to safety and quality standards

Job Duties

  • Supervises the team within the Bakery department to deliver on the business plan and communicate the goals of the department
  • Execute company programs and adhere to policies while advocating for members, associates, and the company
  • Collaborate with other team leaders to ensure the total club meets member expectations
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of bakery operations, product specifications, and seasonality
  • Ensure compliance with quality, inventory, safety, sanitation, and production standards
  • Share knowledge and train bakery team members on new products and procedures
  • Leverage digital tools to plan and drive sales, improve shopping experience, and enhance associate engagement
  • Drive business results through operational excellence, including maintaining a clean and safe work area
  • Plan appropriate staffing for bakery volume and drive consistency in quality and food safety
  • Train and develop team members to encourage career growth and source new talent
  • Collaborate with managers and stakeholders to implement business processes and improve operations
  • Promote and support compliance with company policies, ethics, and integrity
  • Lead and participate in teams to coordinate work and adapt to change or challenges
