  • Two or more years baking in a professional kitchen
  • ability to stand for extended periods

  • basic data entry capability
  • fundamental math and English skills

Job Qualifications

  • Two or more years of baking experience in a professional or commercial kitchen
  • current health code certification (preferred)
  • ability to work on feet for long periods
  • able to lift and carry 35lbs consistently and up to 55lbs occasionally
  • strict adherence to personal hygiene and dress standards
  • strong attention to detail
  • passion for learning culinary arts
  • ability to work quickly and efficiently
  • competent knife skills
  • basic data entry and computer skills
  • basic math and English proficiency

Job Duties

  • Prepare designated bakery items based on established recipes
  • execute daily production lists and maintain Reserve and Starbucks Gold Standard
  • receive ingredients and supplies from the main kitchen or pantry for daily operation
  • use mixers such as spiral, twin arm, Planetary (Hobart) mixers, dough sheeters, dough dividers/molders and scales
  • cut and weigh dough into uniform portions, mold dough into desired shapes, proof dough and bake using oven peels
  • inspect product for quality during and after baking and adjust processes as needed
  • perform other duties as assigned by their leader in support of the kitchen
