Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a bakery or food preparation setting preferred
- Ability to follow recipes and baking instructions accurately
- Good communication skills
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends
- Commitment to maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards

Job Duties
- Assist in preparing and baking bread, cakes, pastries, and other bakery items
- Follow recipes, portioning, and baking guidelines to ensure consistent quality
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Take customer orders with a friendly, positive attitude
- Answer basic questions about products, ingredients, and availability
- Provide excellent service and help create a welcoming bakery environment
- Keep bakery cases and displays fully stocked, neat, and visually appealing
- Rotate products to ensure freshness and reduce waste
- Monitor product levels and communicate when items need to be replenished
- Assist bakers and team members with daily tasks as needed
- Help with packaging, labeling, and preparing items for sale
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and store policies
