Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Less than one year of experience in baking or kitchen operations
  • Ability to stand and move for long periods
  • Capability to lift and carry items up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to twist, pull, stoop, and reach overhead and below knees
  • Capacity to work on uneven surfaces such as stairs or ramps
  • Follow food safety and sanitation standards

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Less than one year of relevant experience in baking, pastry, or kitchen operations
  • Ability to follow standardized recipes and presentation standards
  • Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • Ability to operate baking tools and ovens safely
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Willingness to take on additional tasks as assigned

Job Duties

  • Prepare and bake pastries, breads, desserts, and other baked goods as per standardized recipes and presentation norms
  • Weigh, mix, divide, and set up the ingredients for the daily baking operations
  • Maintain and operate baking tools and machinery in a secure and efficient manner
  • Oversee the operation of ovens and kitchen devices to guarantee the correct cooking timings and temperatures
  • Adhere to guidelines for food safety and sanitation, which involve correctly storing food, maintaining personal hygiene, and keeping the kitchen clean
  • Follow kitchen guidelines for setting up and dismantling workstations
  • Ensure that there is uniformity in the quality and consistency of food across all batches produced in the shift
