Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in baking or a related food preparation role preferred
- Ability to follow detailed recipes and baking procedures
- Ability to multitask and operate standard bakery equipment
- Good communication skills to interact with customers and team members
- Able to maintain cleanliness and safety standards
- Physical ability to stand for long periods, walk extensively, and lift up to 50 pounds
Job Qualifications
- Valid Food Handlers Card
- Customer service and retail experience desirable
Job Duties
- Greet and interact with customers to address questions or concerns in a friendly, service-oriented manner
- Organize products in display case and tables while ensuring fully-stocked cases
- Support team with baking various breads, cookies, and desserts, including pan dulce
- Communicate effectively with management and baking team to fulfill and address any issues or needs
- Conduct inventory on a regular basis to ensure proper levels
- Maintain standards for quality, cleanliness, organization, customer service, safety, loss prevention, sanitation, department conditions, and food safety
- Stock, fill, face, and ensure pricing accuracy while examining the rotation of all bakery products and discarding outdated or spoiled items
