Job Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs
- ability to stand and walk continuously throughout the shift
- willing to work in a fast-paced bakery environment
- basic knowledge of baked products and standard baking equipment
- proficient multitasking skills
- strong communication skills
Job Qualifications
- Valid Food Handlers Card
- customer service and retail experience desirable
Job Duties
- Greet and interact with customers to address questions or concerns in a friendly, service-oriented manner
- Organize products in display case and tables while ensuring fully-stocked cases
- Support team with baking various breads, cookies, and desserts, including pan dulce
- Communicate effectively with management and baking team to resolve issues and meet guest and employee needs
- Conduct inventory regularly to maintain proper stock levels
- Maintain standards for quality, cleanliness, organization, customer service, safety, loss prevention, sanitation, department conditions, and food safety
- Stock, fill, face, and ensure pricing accuracy while managing product rotation and discarding outdated items
- Operate professional bakery equipment including heat sources, mixers, and blenders
- Take food orders in person and by telephone
- Perform other duties as assigned
