Job Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs
  • ability to stand and walk continuously throughout the shift
  • willing to work in a fast-paced bakery environment
  • basic knowledge of baked products and standard baking equipment
  • proficient multitasking skills
  • strong communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • Valid Food Handlers Card
  • customer service and retail experience desirable

Job Duties

  • Greet and interact with customers to address questions or concerns in a friendly, service-oriented manner
  • Organize products in display case and tables while ensuring fully-stocked cases
  • Support team with baking various breads, cookies, and desserts, including pan dulce
  • Communicate effectively with management and baking team to resolve issues and meet guest and employee needs
  • Conduct inventory regularly to maintain proper stock levels
  • Maintain standards for quality, cleanliness, organization, customer service, safety, loss prevention, sanitation, department conditions, and food safety
  • Stock, fill, face, and ensure pricing accuracy while managing product rotation and discarding outdated items
  • Operate professional bakery equipment including heat sources, mixers, and blenders
  • Take food orders in person and by telephone
  • Perform other duties as assigned
