- High school diploma or equivalent
- valid Food Handlers Card
- capable of lifting up to 50 lbs
- ability to stand and walk continuously during shifts
- previous bakery or food preparation experience preferred
- excellent interpersonal skills

Job Duties
- Greet and interact with customers to address questions or concerns in a friendly, service-oriented manner
- organize products in display case and tables while ensuring fully-stocked cases
- support team with baking various breads, cookies, and desserts, including pan dulce
- possess knowledge of basic baked products such as cakes, breads, cookies, pan dulce, and special order cakes, and standard baking production equipment
- perform advanced baking methods and multitask efficiently
- effectively communicate with management and baking team to fulfill and address any issues or needs requested by guests and employees
- conduct inventory regularly to ensure proper stock levels
- maintain standards for quality, cleanliness, organization, customer service, safety, loss prevention, sanitation, department conditions, and food safety
- stock, fill, face, and ensure pricing accuracy while examining the rotation of bakery products and discarding outdated items
- work with various professional bakery equipment including heat sources, mixers, and blenders
- take food orders in person and by telephone
- perform all other duties as assigned
