Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- valid Food Handlers Card
- ability to lift up to 25 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs
- ability to stand and walk continuously throughout the shift
- prior baking or kitchen experience preferred
- strong customer service skills
- ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

- knowledge of basic baked goods products such as cakes, breads, cookies, pan dulce, and special order cakes
- ability to follow recipes and baking instructions

Job Duties
- Greet and interact with customers to address questions or concerns in a friendly, service-oriented manner
- organize products in display case and tables while ensuring fully-stocked cases
- support team with baking various breads, cookies, and desserts, including pan dulce
- effectively communicate with management and baking team to address any issues or needs
- conduct inventory regularly to ensure proper levels
- maintain standards for quality, cleanliness, organization, customer service, safety, loss prevention, sanitation, department conditions, and food safety
- stock, fill, face, and ensure pricing accuracy while examining product rotation and discarding outdated or spoiled items
- work with professional bakery equipment including heat sources, mixers, and blenders
- take food orders in person and by telephone
- perform all other duties as assigned
