Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Ability to stand continuously throughout shift
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs
  • Must have valid Food Handlers Card
  • Previous baking or food preparation experience preferred
  • Ability to multitask and work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Reliable and punctual

Job Duties

  • Greet and interact with customers to address questions or concerns in a friendly service-oriented manner
  • Organize products in display case and tables while ensuring fully-stocked cases
  • Support team with baking various breads cookies desserts including pan dulce
  • Possess knowledge of basic baked products and standard baking production equipment and ability to perform advanced baking methods multi-task
  • Effectively communicate with management and baking team to fulfill and address any issues or needs requested by guests or employees
  • Conduct inventory regularly to ensure proper levels
  • Maintain standards for quality cleanliness organization customer service safety loss prevention sanitation department conditions and food safety
  • Stock fill face and ensure pricing accuracy while examining rotation of bakery products and discarding outdated or spoiled items
  • Work with various professional bakery equipment including heat sources mixers and blenders
  • Take food orders in person and by telephone
  • Perform all other duties as assigned
