Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Ability to stand continuously throughout shift
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs
Must have valid Food Handlers Card
Previous baking or food preparation experience preferred
Ability to multitask and work collaboratively in a team environment
Reliable and punctual

Job Qualifications

Customer service experience desirable
Retail experience desirable
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication skills
Knowledge of baking production equipment and methods

Job Duties

Greet and interact with customers to address questions or concerns in a friendly service-oriented manner
Organize products in display case and tables while ensuring fully-stocked cases
Support team with baking various breads cookies desserts including pan dulce
Possess knowledge of basic baked products and standard baking production equipment and ability to perform advanced baking methods multi-task
Effectively communicate with management and baking team to fulfill and address any issues or needs requested by guests or employees
Conduct inventory regularly to ensure proper levels
Maintain standards for quality cleanliness organization customer service safety loss prevention sanitation department conditions and food safety
Stock fill face and ensure pricing accuracy while examining rotation of bakery products and discarding outdated or spoiled items
Work with various professional bakery equipment including heat sources mixers and blenders
Take food orders in person and by telephone
Perform all other duties as assigned
