Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Valid food handlers card
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs regularly and occasionally up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand and walk continuously throughout the shift
- Prior baking experience preferred but not mandatory
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to follow recipes and product handling standards

- Knowledge of basic baked goods such as cakes, breads, cookies, pan dulce, and special order cakes
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties
- Greet and interact with customers to address questions or concerns in a friendly, service-oriented manner
- Organize products in display case and tables while ensuring fully-stocked cases
- Support team with baking various breads, cookies, and desserts, including pan dulce
- Possess knowledge of basic baked products and standard baking production equipment
- Ability to perform advanced baking methods and multitask
- Effectively communicate with management and baking team to fulfill and address any issues or needs
- Conduct inventory on a regular basis to ensure proper levels
- Maintain standards for quality, cleanliness, organization, customer service, safety, loss prevention, sanitation, department conditions, and food safety
- Stock, fill, face, and ensure pricing accuracy while examining the rotation of all bakery products and discarding outdated or spoiled items
- Work with various professional bakery equipment, including heat sources, mixers, and blenders
- Take food orders in person and by telephone
- Perform all other duties as assigned
