Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous baking experience or training preferred
- valid Food Handlers Card required
- ability to lift up to 25 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs
- ability to stand and walk continuously throughout the shift
- excellent customer service skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- strong organizational skills

- customer service and retail experience desirable
- basic knowledge of baked goods including cakes, breads, cookies, pan dulce, and special order cakes
- ability to perform advanced baking methods

- commitment to maintaining quality and safety standards
Job Duties
- Greet and interact with customers to address questions or concerns in a friendly, service-oriented manner
- organize products in display case and tables while ensuring fully-stocked cases
- support team with baking various breads, cookies, and desserts, including pan dulce
- effectively communicate with management and baking team to fulfill and address any issues or needs
- conduct inventory on a regular basis to ensure proper levels
- maintain standards for quality, cleanliness, organization, customer service, safety, loss prevention, sanitation, department conditions, and food safety
- stock, fill, face, and ensure pricing accuracy while examining the rotation of all bakery products and discarding outdated or spoiled items
