Job Requirements
- valid Washington State Food Workers Card
- ability to pass background and reference checks
- minimum one year of experience in bakery or coffee preparation preferred
- excellent time management and organizational skills
- reliable and friendly with outgoing personality
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- commitment to exceptional customer service
Job Qualifications
- knowledge of food and coffee including ingredients and culinary skills
- strong interpersonal and oral communication skills
- demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work within deadlines
- self-motivated and able to problem solve
- experience working effectively in diverse team environments
- knowledge of food safety and HACCP or Department of Health guidelines
- preferably one year of experience in a high-volume coffee shop and bakery industry experience
Job Duties
- greet customers and fulfill bakery and coffee orders promptly
- share detailed knowledge about bakery and coffee products with customers
- maintain cleanliness and organization of self-serve areas
- prioritize between routine tasks and immediate customer needs
- monitor and manage product inventory to maximize sales potential
- assist with product and supply ordering in collaboration with leadership
- develop and maintain appealing product displays
- participate in promotions, focuses, and community events
