Job Requirements
- Able to lift and carry 20 lbs regularly and 75 lbs occasionally
- Stand and walk for extended periods of time
- Able to handle lifting, cleaning, and work with ovens in heat
- Must pass background check
- Commitment to company dress code standards
Job Qualifications
- Previous bakery or food service experience helpful
- Good customer courtesy and communication skills
- Able to work with knives, scales, and wrapping machines
- Able to follow written and verbal assignments

Job Duties
- Ensure that customers receive excellent customer service and that excellent customer relations are maintained
- Prepare all new product for the day as per DeRomo's Gourmet Market & Restaurant standards
- Pricing, coding of product, wrapping, and ensure integrity of POS material
- Remove from the sales area all old product, fill out production sheets, and clean display cases including windows
- Stock and display merchandise as per company standards
- Service customers and maintain DeRomo's courtesy at all times
- Assist with proofing and baking as well as cake decorating
- Take bakery orders as per company standards, filling out the order forms accurately
- Maintain department sanitation including cleaning cases, work area, utensils, and emptying garbage
- Follow safety and health regulations including proper use of equipment and sanitation
- Perform additional functions assigned by department or store manager
- Assist other departments when recognized or called upon
