Job Requirements
- at least 18 years of age
- ability to move about non hard surfaces and occasionally bend, handle, pull, reach, push or stoop
- frequently lift objects up to 30 pounds and may require assistance lifting objects greater than 30 pounds
- able to work in a comfortable indoor environment with exposure to temperature extremes from freezers, ovens, or coolers
- willingness to frequently handle cleaning agents
- ability to meet predictable full attendance requirements
Job Qualifications
- experience working in a bakery or customer service oriented environment preferred
- knowledge of bakery products preferred
- at least 18 years of age
Job Duties
- proof and bake all unfinished bakery goods by following product handling information using ovens and other equipment
- unpack bakery goods from the freezer and display proper amounts based on bakery production chart
- maintain cleaning and safety standards within the bakery department
- answer questions and recommend bakery items
- take special orders from members
- package freshly baked goods including cookies, pastries, muffins, breads, pies, and cakes
- decorate special order or case products
- rotate and store bakery products following food safety and freshness policies
- receive, inspect, and store bakery shipments
- ensure products meet company quality standards and remove out-of-date items
- generate labels and price tickets for bakery goods and perform price checks
- clean and sanitize equipment and food surfaces in the bakery
- operate bakery equipment safely
- maintain all club policies and procedures
- perform other duties as assigned, including working in other departments
- ensure regular and predictable full attendance
