Job Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- Ability to move about non hard surfaces including frequent bending, pulling, reaching, pushing, and/or stooping
- Ability to lift objects up to 30 pounds frequently and heavier objects with assistance
- Comfortable working in indoor environments with exposure to temperature extremes from freezers, ovens, or coolers
- Willingness to work safely handling cleaning agents
- Regular, predictable, full attendance
Job Qualifications
- Experience working in a bakery or customer service oriented environment preferred
- Knowledge of bakery products preferred
- At least 18 years of age
Job Duties
- Proof and bake all unfinished bakery goods by following product handling information using ovens and other equipment
- Unpack bakery goods from the freezer and display proper amounts based on bakery production chart recommendations
- Maintain cleaning and safety standards within the bakery department
- Answer questions and recommend bakery items including taking special orders
- Package freshly baked goods such as cookies, pastries, muffins, rolls, breads, pies, and cakes
- Decorate special order or case products
- Rotate and store bakery products following food safety, freshness, and handling policies
- Receive, inspect, and store bakery shipments
- Check for out-of-date products daily and follow salvage and stale product policies
- Generate labels and price tickets, ensuring all bakery items are accurately priced
- Clean and sanitize bakery equipment, display fixtures, and food surfaces
- Operate bakery equipment safely
- Maintain all club policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned including working in other departments as needed
