Job Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- Ability to follow detailed product handling and safety instructions
- Physical ability to move, bend, lift up to 30 pounds occasionally with assistance
- Ability to work in varying temperature conditions including freezers and ovens
- Strong communication skills
- Commitment to honesty, integrity, and member focused service
Job Qualifications
- Experience working in a bakery or customer service oriented environment preferred
- Knowledge of bakery products preferred
- At least 18 years of age
Job Duties
- Proof and bake all unfinished bakery goods by following product handling information using ovens and other equipment
- Unpack bakery goods from the freezer and display proper amounts based on bakery production chart recommendations
- Maintain all cleaning and safety standards within the bakery department
- Answer member questions, take special orders and recommend bakery items
- Package freshly baked goods including cookies, Danish pastries, muffins, rolls, breads, pies, cakes, and other items as needed
- Decorate special order or case products
- Rotate and store bakery products following proper methods on food safety, freshness, and handling policies
- Receive, inspect, and store bakery shipments
- Ensure all products are fresh and meet company quality standards
- Generate labels and price tickets for bakery goods and perform price check functions
- Clean and sanitize equipment, display fixtures, and food surfaces in the bakery
- Operate and handle bakery equipment safely according to policies and procedures
- Maintain all club policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned including working in other departments as needed
