Job Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- Ability to follow product handling and food safety policies
- Physical capability to lift up to 30 pounds frequently and heavier objects with assistance
- Capability to work standing, bending, reaching, pushing, and stooping
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and safety standards
- Willingness to work indoors in varying temperatures including freezers and ovens
- Commitment to regular, predictable attendance
Job Qualifications
- Experience working in a bakery or customer service-oriented environment preferred
- Knowledge of bakery products preferred
- At least 18 years of age
Job Duties
- Proof and bake all unfinished bakery goods by following product handling instructions using ovens and other equipment
- Unpack bakery goods from the freezer and display proper amounts based on bakery production charts
- Maintain cleaning and safety standards within the bakery department
- Answer questions and recommend bakery items to members
- Package freshly baked goods such as cookies, pastries, muffins, breads, pies, and cakes
- Decorate special order or case products
- Rotate and store bakery products following food safety and freshness policies
- Receive, inspect, and store bakery shipments
- Ensure all bakery products meet company quality standards and check for out-of-date products
- Generate labels and price tickets for bakery goods and perform price checks
- Clean and sanitize equipment, display fixtures, and food surfaces
- Operate bakery equipment using proper safety methods
- Follow club policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned including working in other departments as needed
- Maintain regular, predictable attendance
