Job Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- Ability to proof and bake bakery goods following specific product handling instructions
- Capability to operate bakery equipment safely
- Ability to lift and move objects up to 30 pounds frequently
- Willingness to adhere to cleaning and safety standards in a bakery environment
- Availability for regular, predictable full attendance
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Job Qualifications
- Experience working in a bakery or customer service oriented environment preferred
- Knowledge of bakery products preferred
- At least 18 years of age
Job Duties
- Answer questions and recommend bakery items
- Answer member calls and take special orders
- Proof and bake all unfinished bakery goods by following product handling information
- Use bakery production charts as a guide for production and display needs
- Package freshly baked goods including cookies, Danish pastries, muffins, and breads
- Decorate special order or case products
- Rotate and store bakery products following food safety, freshness, and handling policies
- Receive, inspect, and store bakery shipments
- Ensure products are fresh and meet company quality standards
- Check for out-of-date products daily and follow salvage and stale product policies
- Generate labels and price tickets for bakery goods
- Perform price check functions when necessary
- Clean and sanitize bakery equipment, display fixtures, and food surfaces
- Operate bakery equipment using safety policies and procedures
- Maintain all club policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned including working in other departments
- Maintain regular and predictable full attendance
