Job Requirements
- Ability to proof and bake bakery goods following product handling instructions
- Basic knowledge of bakery products and production charts
- Ability to operate bakery equipment safely
- Ability to follow food safety, storage, and product handling policies
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
- Ability to work as part of a team and collaborate with others
- Physical ability to lift up to 30 pounds frequently and occasionally assist with heavier items
- Willingness to work in environments with temperature extremes such as freezers and ovens
- At least 18 years old
- Regular and predictable attendance
Job Qualifications
- Experience working in a bakery or customer service environment preferred
- Knowledge of bakery products preferred
- At least 18 years of age
Job Duties
- Answer questions and recommend bakery items
- Answer member calls and take special orders
- Proof and bake all unfinished bakery goods following product handling information
- Unpack bakery goods from the freezer and display proper amounts based on bakery production charts
- Package freshly baked goods including cookies, pastries, muffins, rolls, breads, pies, cakes
- Decorate special order or case products
- Rotate and store bakery products following food safety and freshness standards
- Receive, inspect, and store bakery shipments
- Ensure all products are fresh and meet company quality standards
- Generate labels and price tickets and perform price checks
- Clean and sanitize equipment, display fixtures, and food surfaces in the bakery
- Operate bakery equipment using proper safety methods
- Maintain all club policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned including working in other departments as needed
- Maintain regular, predictable attendance
