Job Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- Ability to follow bakery production charts and product handling instructions
- Ability to operate bakery ovens and equipment safely
- Able to lift and move objects up to 30 pounds
- Availability to work weekdays between 1 pm and 9 pm, including weekends
- Good communication skills for member interactions
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and adhere to safety standards
- Regular, predictable, full attendance
Job Qualifications
- Experience working in a bakery or customer service oriented environment preferred
- Knowledge of bakery products preferred
- At least 18 years of age
Job Duties
- Answer questions and recommend bakery items
- Answer member calls and take special orders
- Proof and bake all unfinished bakery goods following product handling information
- Package freshly baked goods including cookies, Danish pastries, muffins, rolls, breads, pies, cakes, and other items
- Decorate special order or case product
- Rotate and store bakery products following food safety and freshness policies
- Receive, inspect, and store bakery shipments
- Ensure products are fresh and meet quality standards
- Check for out-of-date products and follow salvage and stale product policies
- Generate labels and price tickets and ensure accurate pricing
- Clean and sanitize bakery equipment, display fixtures, and food surfaces
- Operate bakery equipment using proper safety procedures
- Maintain all club policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned, including working in other departments
- Maintain regular, predictable, full attendance
