Job Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- Ability to proof and bake bakery goods following product handling instructions
- Ability to package and decorate bakery items accurately
- Ability to rotate and store bakery products following food safety standards
- Ability to receive, inspect, and store shipments
- Capability to clean and sanitize bakery equipment and food surfaces
- Ability to operate bakery equipment safely
- Customer service skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Regular, predictable attendance
Job Qualifications
- Experience working in a bakery or customer service oriented environment preferred
- Knowledge of bakery products preferred
- At least 18 years of age
Job Duties
- Answer questions and recommend bakery items
- Answer member calls and take special orders
- Proof and bake all unfinished bakery goods by following product handling information using ovens and other equipment
- Use bakery production charts to guide production and display needs
- Gather products to be prepared for the next business day
- Package freshly baked goods including cookies, Danish pastries, muffins, rolls, breads, pies, cakes, and other items as needed
- Decorate special order or case products
- Rotate and store bakery products following proper food safety, freshness, and product handling policies and procedures
- Receive, inspect, and store bakery shipments
- Ensure all products are fresh and meet company quality standards
- Check for out-of-date products daily and follow salvage and stale product policies
- Generate labels and price tickets for bakery goods and perform price checks when necessary
- Clean and sanitize bakery equipment, display fixtures, and food surfaces including ovens, utensils, refrigerated cases, display racks, and tables
- Operate and handle bakery equipment using proper work methods in accordance with safety policies
- Maintain all club policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned including working in other departments as needed
- Maintain regular, predictable, full attendance
