Job Requirements
- Minimum age of 18 years
- ability to move about non hard surfaces
- ability to bend, handle, pull, reach, push, or stoop as required
- frequently lift objects up to 30 pounds
- ability to lift and move heavy or awkward objects greater than 30 pounds with assistance
- ability to work in indoor environments with exposure to temperature extremes from freezers, ovens, or coolers
- willingness to handle cleaning agents
- availability to work 3pm to 10pm PT with up to 20 hours including weekends
- ability to maintain regular, predictable, full attendance
Job Qualifications
- Experience working in a bakery or customer service oriented environment preferred
- knowledge of bakery products preferred
- at least 18 years of age
Job Duties
- Answer questions and recommend bakery items
- answer member calls and take special orders
- proof and bake all unfinished bakery goods following product handling information
- use bakery production charts as a guide for production and display needs
- gather products to be prepared for the next business day
- package freshly baked goods including cookies, Danish pastries, muffins, rolls, breads, pies, cakes, and other items as needed
- unpack bakery goods from the freezer and display proper amounts based on bakery production chart recommendations
- decorate special order or case product
- rotate and store bakery products following proper work methods on food safety, food freshness, and product handling policies
- receive, inspect, and store bakery shipments
- ensure all products are fresh and meet company quality standards
- check for out-of-date products daily and follow salvage and stale product policies and procedures
- generate labels and price tickets for bakery goods and perform price check functions when necessary
- clean and sanitize equipment, display fixtures, and food surfaces
- operate and handle bakery equipment using proper work methods in accordance with safety policies
- maintain all club policies and procedures
- perform other duties as assigned including working in other departments as needed
- ensure regular, predictable, full attendance
