Job Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- Ability to handle physical demands including lifting up to 30 pounds
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekdays between 1pm and 9pm and weekends
- Ability to follow safety and food handling procedures
- Strong communication and customer service skills
Job Qualifications
- Experience working in a bakery or customer service oriented environment preferred
- Knowledge of bakery products preferred
- At least 18 years of age
Job Duties
- Answer questions and recommend bakery items
- Answer member calls and take special orders
- Proof and bake all unfinished bakery goods following product handling information
- Package freshly baked goods including cookies, Danish pastries, muffins, rolls, breads, pies, cakes and others
- Decorate special order or case product
- Rotate and store bakery products following food safety and product handling procedures
- Receive, inspect, and store bakery shipments
- Check for out-of-date products and follow salvage and stale product policies
- Generate labels and price tickets and ensure accurate pricing
- Clean and sanitize bakery equipment and food surfaces
- Operate bakery equipment using safety procedures
- Maintain all club policies and procedures
- Perform other duties including working in other departments as needed
