Job Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- Ability to work Friday, Saturday, and Sunday between 1pm and close
- Ability to lift and move objects up to 30 pounds frequently
- Ability to work in temperature-controlled environments including freezers and ovens
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as bending, pulling, pushing, and stooping
- Capability to follow safety and food handling procedures
- Regular and predictable attendance
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
Job Qualifications
- Experience working in a bakery or customer service environment preferred
- Knowledge of bakery products preferred
- At least 18 years of age
Job Duties
- Answer questions and recommend bakery items
- Answer member calls and take special orders
- Proof and bake all unfinished bakery goods following product handling instructions
- Use bakery production charts as a guide for production and display
- Package freshly baked goods including cookies, pastries, muffins, rolls, breads, pies, and cakes
- Unpack bakery goods from the freezer and display proper amounts
- Decorate special order or case products
- Rotate and store bakery products following safety and freshness policies
- Receive, inspect, and store bakery shipments
- Check for out-of-date products and follow salvage policies
- Generate labels and price tickets for bakery goods
- Clean and sanitize bakery equipment and food surfaces
- Operate bakery equipment safely according to procedures
- Maintain all club policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned including supporting other departments
- Maintain regular and predictable full attendance
