Job Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- ability to proof and bake bakery goods following product handling guidelines
- ability to handle physical tasks including lifting up to 30 pounds regularly
- ability to operate bakery equipment safely
- willingness to maintain a friendly and positive attitude
- ability to follow safety and sanitation procedures
- availability for regular full attendance
- ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Experience working in a bakery or customer service oriented environment preferred
- knowledge of bakery products preferred
- at least 18 years of age
Job Duties
- Answers questions and recommends bakery items
- answers member calls and takes special orders
- proofs and bakes all unfinished bakery goods by following product handling information using ovens and other equipment
- packages freshly baked goods including cookies, pastries, muffins, breads, pies, and cakes
- decorates special order or case product
- rotates and stores bakery products following proper food safety and freshness policies
- receives, inspects, and stores bakery shipments
- ensures all products are fresh and meet company quality standards
- generates labels and price tickets and performs price checks
- cleans and sanitizes bakery equipment and food surfaces
- operates bakery equipment following safety policies
- maintains all club policies and procedures
- performs other duties as assigned including working in other departments
- ensures regular, predictable full attendance
