Job Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- Ability to lift 30 pounds frequently
- Ability to work in environments with temperature extremes such as freezers and ovens
- Ability to bend, handle, pull, reach, push, and stoop as needed
- Ability to move about non-hard surfaces
- Commitment to regular, predictable full attendance
Job Qualifications
- Experience working in a bakery or customer service oriented environment preferred
- Knowledge of bakery products preferred
- At least 18 years of age
Job Duties
- Carry out job functions and responsibilities as assigned
- Support the application of club policies, procedures and compliance
- Acts with honesty and integrity and lead with the member in mind to address any concerns and escalate as appropriate
- Ensure a safe and positive environment for members and coworkers
- Embrace inclusion and diversity by working with collaboration and respect
- Move with speed and agility in everything we do
- Maintain a friendly and positive attitude
- Answer questions and recommend bakery items
- Proof and bake all unfinished bakery goods following product handling information
- Unpack bakery goods from the freezer and display proper amounts
- Package freshly baked goods including cookies, pastries, breads, pies, and cakes
- Decorate special order or case products
- Rotate and store bakery products following food safety and freshness policies
- Receive, inspect, and store bakery shipments
- Check for out-of-date products and follow salvage procedures
- Generate labels and price tickets and perform price checks
- Clean and sanitize bakery equipment and displays
- Operate and handle bakery equipment according to safety policies
- Perform other duties as assigned including working in other departments
- Maintain regular, predictable attendance
