Job Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- Experience working in a bakery or customer service oriented environment preferred
- Knowledge of bakery products preferred
- Ability to lift objects up to 30 pounds frequently
- Ability to move, bend, push, or stoop as needed
- Ability to work in temperature extremes such as freezers, ovens, and coolers
- Capable of maintaining a safe and clean working environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Regular and predictable attendance

Job Duties
- Answers questions and recommends bakery items
- Answers member calls and takes special orders
- Proofs and bakes all unfinished bakery goods by following product handling information using ovens and other equipment
- Uses bakery production charts as guide for production and display needs
- Packages freshly baked goods including cookies, Danish pastries, muffins, rolls, breads, pies, cakes, and other items
- Unpacks bakery goods from freezer and displays proper amounts
- Decorates special orders or case products
- Rotates and stores bakery products following food safety and freshness policies
- Receives, inspects, and stores bakery shipments
- Ensures products are fresh and meet quality standards
- Checks out-of-date products and follows salvage and stale product policies
- Generates labels and price tickets and performs price checks
- Cleans and sanitizes bakery equipment and food surfaces
- Operates bakery equipment with proper safety procedures
- Maintains club policies and procedures
- Performs other duties and works in other departments as needed
- Maintains regular and predictable attendance
