Job Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- Ability to lift and move objects up to 30 pounds frequently
- Ability to lift and move heavy or awkward objects greater than 30 pounds with assistance
- Ability to bend, handle, pull, reach, push, and stoop as required
- Ability to work in temperature extremes including freezers, ovens, and coolers
- Ability to work with cleaning agents safely
- Regular, predictable full attendance
- Commitment to honesty, integrity, and inclusion
Job Qualifications
- Experience working in a bakery or customer service oriented environment preferred
- Knowledge of bakery products preferred
- At least 18 years of age
Job Duties
- Answer questions and recommend bakery items
- Answer member calls and take special orders
- Proof and bake all unfinished bakery goods following product handling guidelines
- Use bakery production charts for production and display
- Package freshly baked goods including cookies, pastries, muffins, breads, pies, and cakes
- Decorate special orders or case products
- Rotate and store bakery products following food safety and freshness policies
- Receive, inspect, and store bakery shipments
- Check for out-of-date products daily and follow salvage procedures
- Generate labels and price tickets and perform price checks
- Clean and sanitize bakery equipment, display fixtures, and food surfaces
- Operate bakery equipment using safe work methods
- Maintain compliance with club policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned including working in other departments
- Maintain regular, predictable attendance
