Job Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- Ability to proof and bake bakery goods following product handling instructions
- Capability to unpack, rotate, and display bakery products
- Strong attention to cleanliness and food safety standards
- Good communication skills to respond to member questions and take special orders
- Physical ability to lift up to 30 pounds frequently and handle occasionally heavier objects with assistance
- Willingness to work indoors in various temperature conditions including exposure to freezers and ovens
Job Qualifications
- Experience working in a bakery or customer service oriented environment preferred
- Knowledge of bakery products preferred
- At least 18 years of age
Job Duties
- Answers questions and recommends bakery items
- Answers member calls and takes special orders
- Proofs and bakes unfinished bakery goods using ovens and other equipment
- Unpacks bakery goods from the freezer and displays proper amounts
- Packages freshly baked goods including cookies, pastries, breads, pies, and cakes
- Decorates special order or case products
- Rotates and stores bakery products following food safety and product handling policies
- Receives, inspects, and stores bakery shipments
- Generates labels and price tickets for bakery goods
- Cleans and sanitizes bakery equipment and work areas
- Operates bakery equipment safely
- Maintains all club policies and procedures
- Performs other assigned duties and may work in other departments as needed
- Maintains regular, predictable, full attendance
