Job Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- Ability to lift and move heavy or awkward objects up to and over 30 pounds with assistance
- Ability to move about non-hard surfaces frequently
- Ability to bend, handle, pull, reach, push and stoop as needed
- Ability to work in environments with temperature extremes including freezers, ovens and coolers
- Ability to handle cleaning agents safely
- Regular, predictable, full attendance
Job Qualifications
- Experience working in a bakery or customer service oriented environment preferred
- Knowledge of bakery products preferred
- At least 18 years of age
Job Duties
- Proof and bake all unfinished bakery goods by following product handling information
- Unpack bakery goods from the freezer and display proper amounts based on bakery production chart
- Maintain all cleaning and safety standards within the bakery department
- Package freshly baked goods including cookies, Danish pastries, muffins, rolls, breads, pies, cakes and other items
- Decorate special order or case product
- Rotate and store bakery products following food safety, freshness and product handling policies
- Receive, inspect, and store bakery shipments while following food safety policies
- Ensure all products are fresh and meet quality standards
- Check for out-of-date products daily and follow salvage and stale product procedures
- Generate labels and price tickets for bakery goods and perform price checks
- Clean and sanitize equipment, display fixtures, and food surfaces including ovens and refrigerated cases
- Operate bakery equipment using proper safety methods
- Maintain all club policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned including working in other departments
- Maintain regular, predictable, full attendance
