Job Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- Ability to proof and bake bakery items following handling and safety procedures
- Ability to lift objects up to 30 pounds frequently
- Willingness to work Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 7 AM to 3 PM
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and safety standards
- Good communication skills to answer member questions and take orders
- Ability to work as part of a team and follow company policies
- Flexibility to perform other duties as assigned
- Regular, predictable, full attendance
- Willingness to work in temperature extremes from freezers and ovens
- Ability to occasionally bend, handle, pull, reach, push, or stoop
Job Qualifications
- Experience working in a bakery or customer service oriented environment preferred
- Knowledge of bakery products preferred
- At least 18 years of age
Job Duties
- Answers questions and recommends bakery items
- Answers Member calls and takes special orders
- Proofs and bakes all unfinished bakery goods by following product handling information and using ovens and equipment
- Packages freshly baked goods including cookies, pastries, muffins, breads, pies, and cakes
- Decorates special orders or case products
- Rotates and stores bakery products following food safety and freshness policies
- Receives, inspects, and stores bakery shipments
- Checks for out-of-date products and follows salvage and stale product policies
- Generates labels and price tickets for bakery goods and performs price checks
- Cleans and sanitizes bakery equipment and surfaces
- Operates bakery equipment following safety policies
- Maintains all club policies and procedures
- Performs other duties as assigned including working in other departments as needed
- Ensures regular, predictable, full attendance
