Job Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- Ability to frequently lift objects up to 30 pounds and occasionally heavier with assistance
- Ability to work in an environment with temperature extremes such as freezers and ovens
- Ability to stand, bend, reach, push, and stoop
- Commitment to regular, predictable full attendance
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Ability to follow safety and sanitation protocols
Job Qualifications
- Experience working in a bakery or customer service-oriented environment preferred
- Knowledge of bakery products preferred
- At least 18 years of age
- Ability to communicate effectively with members
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures
Job Duties
- Answers questions and recommends bakery items
- Answers member calls and takes special orders
- Proofs and bakes all unfinished bakery goods by following each item's product handling information
- Packages freshly baked goods including cookies, Danish pastries, muffins, rolls, breads, pies, cakes, and other items
- Decorates special order or case product
- Rotates and stores bakery products following food safety, freshness, and product handling policies
- Receives, inspects, and stores bakery shipments
- Ensures all products meet company quality standards
- Generates labels and price tickets for bakery goods and performs price checks
- Cleans and sanitizes equipment, display fixtures, and food surfaces
- Operates bakery equipment safely
- Maintains club policies and procedures
- Performs other duties as assigned
