Job Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- ability to move about non hard surfaces and occasionally bend, handle, pull, reach, push, and stoop
- frequently lift up to 30 pounds and occasionally lift heavier objects with assistance
- comfortable working in an indoor environment with exposure to temperature extremes
- willingness to handle cleaning agents
- regular, predictable, full attendance
Job Qualifications
- Experience working in a bakery or customer service oriented environment preferred
- knowledge of bakery products preferred
- at least 18 years of age
Job Duties
- Answer questions and recommend bakery items
- answer member calls and take special orders
- proof and bake all unfinished bakery goods by following product handling information
- use bakery production charts as a guide for production and display needs
- gather products to be prepared for the next business day
- package freshly baked goods such as cookies, pastries, muffins, breads, pies, and cakes
- unpack bakery goods from the freezer and display proper amounts
- decorate special orders or case products
- rotate and store bakery products following food safety and freshness policies
- receive, inspect, and store bakery shipments
- check for out-of-date products and follow salvage policies
- generate labels and price tickets and perform price checks
- clean and sanitize equipment and display fixtures
- operate bakery equipment safely
- maintain all club policies and procedures
- perform other duties as assigned including working in other departments
