Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- ability to handle physical requirements including lifting up to 30 pounds
- willingness to work in an environment with temperature extremes from freezers and ovens
- reliable attendance and punctuality
- strong attention to detail
- good communication skills
- ability to work efficiently in a team environment
Job Qualifications
- Experience working in a bakery or customer service environment preferred
- knowledge of bakery products preferred
- at least 18 years of age
Job Duties
- Answer questions and recommend bakery items
- answer member calls and take special orders
- proof and bake all unfinished bakery goods using ovens and equipment
- unpack bakery goods from the freezer and display proper amounts based on bakery production charts
- package freshly baked goods such as cookies, pastries, breads, pies, and cakes
- decorate special orders or case products
- rotate and store bakery products according to food safety and freshness policies
- receive, inspect, and store bakery shipments
- generate labels and price tickets for bakery goods
- clean and sanitize bakery equipment, display fixtures, and food surfaces
- operate bakery equipment following safety policies
- maintain all club policies and procedures
- perform other duties as assigned including working in other departments
- ensure regular, predictable attendance
