Job Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- Ability to work closing shifts and weekends
- Experience in bakery or customer service preferred
- Ability to lift objects up to 30 pounds frequently
- Occasional lifting and moving of heavier or awkward items with assistance
- Capacity to stand and move about non-hard surfaces for extended periods
- Comfortable working in environments with temperature extremes such as freezers and ovens
- Ability to follow company policies and safety procedures strictly
- Reliable and predictable attendance
Job Qualifications
- Experience working in a bakery or customer service oriented environment preferred
- Knowledge of bakery products preferred
- At least 18 years of age
- Demonstrated ability to follow safety and hygiene standards
- Capable of maintaining a positive and friendly attitude
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Good communication skills
- Basic math skills for product labeling and pricing
Job Duties
- Proof and bake all unfinished bakery goods by following product handling information using ovens and other equipment
- Unpack bakery goods from the freezer and display proper amounts based on bakery production charts
- Package freshly baked goods including cookies, pastries, muffins, breads, pies, and cakes
- Decorate special order or case products
- Rotate and store bakery products following food safety and freshness policies
- Receive, inspect, and store bakery shipments
- Clean and sanitize bakery equipment, display fixtures, and food surfaces
- Generate labels and price tickets for bakery goods and ensure accurate pricing
- Operate bakery equipment safely according to policies
- Maintain compliance with all club policies and procedures
- Deliver service excellence to members through prompt and friendly interaction
- Resolve and deescalate member concerns
- Maintain a safe and positive environment for members and team members
- Work collaboratively as part of the team to achieve daily operational goals
- Perform other duties as assigned including support in other departments
- Ensure regular and predictable attendance as an essential job function
