Job Requirements

At least 18 years of age
Experience working in a bakery or customer service oriented environment preferred
Knowledge of bakery products preferred

Job Duties

Answer questions and recommend bakery items
Answer member calls and take special orders
Proof and bake all unfinished bakery goods following product handling information
Use bakery production charts as a guide for production and display needs
Package freshly baked goods including cookies, Danish pastries, muffins, rolls, breads, pies, cakes, and other items
Unpack bakery goods from freezer and display proper amounts
Decorate special order or case products
Rotate and store bakery products following food safety, freshness, and product handling policies
Receive, inspect, and store bakery shipments
Ensure all products are fresh and meet company quality standards
Check for out-of-date products and follow salvage and stale product policies
Generate labels and price tickets for bakery goods
Perform price check functions
Clean and sanitize bakery equipment, display fixtures, and food surfaces
Operate and handle bakery equipment using proper work methods and safety procedures
Maintain club policies and procedures
Perform other duties as assigned including working in other departments
Maintain regular, predictable, full attendance
