Job Requirements
- Must be available 3p - 10p or 415p - 10p Tuesday Wednesday Thursday
- Ability to move about non hard surfaces frequently
- Ability to bend, handle, pull, reach, push and stoop as required
- Ability to lift objects up to 30 pounds frequently and with assistance for heavier items
- Comfortable working in temperature extremes including freezers, ovens, and coolers
- Frequent exposure to cleaning agents
- Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function
- Must be at least 18 years old
Job Qualifications
- Experience working in a bakery or customer service oriented environment preferred
- Knowledge of bakery products preferred
- At least 18 years of age
Job Duties
- Proofs and bakes all unfinished bakery goods by following product handling information
- Unpacks bakery goods from the freezer and displays proper amounts based on production charts
- Packages freshly baked items such as cookies, Danish pastries, muffins, breads, pies, and cakes
- Decorates special order or case products
- Rotates and stores bakery products following food safety and freshness guidelines
- Receives, inspects, and stores bakery shipments
- Generates labels and price tickets and performs price check functions
- Cleans and sanitizes bakery equipment and surfaces
- Operates bakery equipment using proper safety methods
- Answers member questions and takes special orders
- Maintains compliance with club policies and procedures
