Job Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds frequently
- Experience in bakery or customer service environment preferred
- Willingness to work in an indoor environment with exposure to temperature extremes from freezers, ovens, and coolers
- Ability to stand and move about non-hard surfaces for most of the work period
- Ability to bend, handle, pull, reach, push, and stoop
- Willingness to adhere to safety policies and cleaning protocols
Job Qualifications
- Experience working in a bakery or customer service oriented environment preferred
- Knowledge of bakery products preferred
- At least 18 years of age
Job Duties
- Answer questions and recommend bakery items
- Take special orders and answer member calls
- Proof and bake all unfinished bakery goods using ovens and/or equipment
- Package freshly baked goods including cookies, Danish pastries, muffins, rolls, breads, pies, and cakes
- Decorate special order or case products
- Rotate and store bakery products following food safety and product handling policies
- Receive, inspect, and store bakery shipments
- Ensure all products are fresh and meet company quality standards
- Generate labels and price tickets, perform price checks
- Clean and sanitize bakery equipment and food surfaces
- Operate bakery equipment using proper safety methods
- Maintain all club policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned including working in other departments
- Maintain regular, predictable attendance
